Your first minutes in Passion Industry are deliberately gentle: a guided sequence walks you through merging, building and your first photoshoot. Follow it, but keep an eye on the systems it introduces — the tutorial only shows you where the buttons are; the strategy is yours to build.

Early goals are simple: complete orders, keep the board tidy and spend coins on the cheapest upgrades first. Momentum in the first hours matters more than perfect planning.

   Never let the board sit idle

   Orders ask for specific merged items. Before you log off, merge toward the next order on the list so your board is always working while you are away.

   Merge in threes when you can

   Most merge games let you combine pairs, but creating in threes gives you one item of the next tier plus one spare of the old. Over a long session that surplus becomes free progress.

   Spend currency with a plan

   Coins fund upgrades, and premium currency buys speed and exclusives. Free-to-play players should save premium currency for event boards, where it multiplies in value.

   Upgrade income before everything

   Rooms that generate coins or speed up shoots pay for every other upgrade you will ever buy. Prioritise them and the whole studio grows faster.

   Learn each starlet’s favourites

   Gifts, themes and sets all carry starlet preferences. Matching them doubles the value of your actions — read the dialogue, it tells you what works.

   Show up for events

   Event boards use their own currency and offer exclusive starlets and sets. Even ten minutes a day keeps your event streak alive and the rewards coming.

Currency and resources

The game runs on a few resources that all feed each other. Coins are the everyday currency, earned from orders, shoots and buildings. Experience raises your producer level, which unlocks new rooms, starlet slots and features. Premium currency is rarer and buys convenience, exclusives and event advantages — it is also handed out generously through missions and events, so patience pays.

A useful habit is to always have one long merge chain in progress. Expensive items take time, but they are also the ones that complete the biggest orders and unlock the most interesting content.

Common mistakes to avoid

New producers most often stumble in three places. First, merging everything immediately — sometimes the item you need is the low-tier one, so check orders before combining. Second, ignoring starlet preferences and shooting on auto-pilot, which quietly cuts your income. Third, hoarding premium currency forever; it has no use sitting in the bank, and event boards are where it earns its keep.

Above all, play at your own pace. Passion Industry is designed for short, frequent sessions, and the studio grows best when the producer enjoys the work. Build the empire your way — there is no wrong board, only an unfinished one.
